Roller
Simple tube and cloth. Blockout, dim-out or screen. Suits most rectangles.
Blinds
We supply and fit interior blinds for homes in Gauteng. Opacity, stack, and whether you want a motor are decisions made at the opening — not from a spec sheet we invented.
Honest brief
A roller on a kitchen sink window is a different job from a motorised blackout in a bedroom. We measure, we talk through fabric and operation, and we quote. If a type below is wrong for your opening, we will say so.
Motorisation can sit on several of these systems. Outdoor / sheerweave is the more open cloth for glare on covered patios and some exterior windows — still measured, still quoted.
Types
Simple tube and cloth. Blockout, dim-out or screen. Suits most rectangles.
Timber slats. Tilt for light. A warmer face than aluminium.
Thinner slats, easy to wipe. Often used in wetter rooms.
Vanes that draw aside. Practical on wide glass and doors.
Sheer stripe over solid stripe. Privacy without killing the view.
Cellular stack. Soft diffusion, a little help at a cold pane.
Remote or wall switch. Worth it on high, stacked, or hard-to-reach blinds.
Open weave for covered outdoor rooms and some exteriors. Not a solid shutter.
