Shutters
Plantation shutters that belong to the window.
Framed louvred panels. Tilt for light, open the panels for air and a clear view. The dining-room photograph is our own work in Gauteng — not a stock set.
What they are
A shutter is a panel, not a blind.
Plantation shutters sit in a frame at the opening. Louvres tilt. Mid-rails and panel splits follow the window, not a one-size grid. We do not publish fake louvre widths or invented timber grades here — those belong in the quote after a measure.
Colour, panel layout and whether you want a tier-on-tier or full-height set are decided on site. If shutters are the wrong covering for the opening, we will say so and talk blinds or an awning instead.
Our install. White louvres, Gauteng dining room.
Photographs
The job, and the look
Left: our dining-room install. Right: a plantation-style interior (stock) so you can see another room shape. We only claim the dining-room shot as ours.
